No personal data obtained through Cathopic will be exploited by the site nor be shared with third party individuals/institutions without the express knowledge and consent of users.
Personal data that may be collected directly from user account registration will be treated confidentially and will be utilized by Cathopic to exercise rights and activities pertinent to organizational tasks/endeavors as listed in, but not limited to, our Licensing Agreement and Assignment of Rights.
In order to offer the best service and facilitate the use of the website, the number of pages visited, the number of site visits, as well as the activity of visitors and their frequency of use can be analyzed, all through anonymized data and statistical information acquired by the Internet Service Provider.

What’s the purpose for processing personal data?

When creating an account on Cathopic:

- The multimedia content the user desires to upload to the platform and share with Cathopic network. users.

The information voluntarily provided by the user to complete an account profile on Cathopic and to enables users of the Cathopic network to learn more about one another and better connect as a community.
Cathopic does not permit registration of users under the age of sixteen (16) and, therefore, we do not target nor collect personal information from such persons.
When you browsing Cathopic, without registering an user account:
- IP address of the device on which users connect are collected by Cathopic.
- Cookies: Cookies are important for the proper functioning of the website. To request access, rectification, deletion or limitation of the processing of personal data or to void processing of information, in the case of the requirements established in the General Data Protection Regulation, as well as in the Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on Personal Data Protection and guarantee of digital rights, users can send a letter to the data controller.
