Today, we have the privilege of introducing César, an invaluable member of our team whose contributions are truly significant. His role and experiences are a cornerstone of our journey, and we're excited to know more about his story and insights.
Who is Cesar Luis Guzman and what’s your role at Cathopic?
Hi, there! You can call me Cesar, I am Peruvian and I'm a Communicator and Marketer. Right now i'm in charge of developing and supervising Cathopic's content, communication and marketing strategies.
When did you join the team?
It's been a few months now. I joined Dimitri (CEO) and the whole bunch in February 2023. Quite a ride!
Where do you live and what do you do besides Cathopic?
I'm currently living in Caxias do Sul, Brazil studying an MBA in Marketing, Branding and Growth in PUCRS (Porto Alegre). Whenever I get some free time I try to go for hikes and look for natural sceneries. I think it's quite an inspiration to be in touch with the elements. I also play around with musical instruments.
What do you do in a regular day in Cathopic?
Well, here we go. Coffee first. Then I usually take a look at our Social Media to see if everything is going ok. After that, I try to check out our daily metrics before starting any other tasks such as creating content for Social Media, work on our blog, talk to our SEO and analytics team to create new ideas and decision making.
Who do you primarily work with on the team?
I work really close to Dimitri, our CEO, firing ideas back and forth. Gerardo, who works directly with our Content Creators, and Marco, who is in charge of the artistic activities in Cathopic.
Why do you enjoy working on Cathopic?
Since day 1, I felt this was a really great team to work with. There is a great deal of mutual respect between each other and the valuable work and experience they put in every project.
Besides the human aspect, Cathopic's purpose is really compelling. It's like giving a whole digital, modern, and dynamic concept to something that may have been sometimes taken for granted. The challenge is a really strong drive.
What is your favorite thing you worked on at Cathopic?
Making my way into the whole marketing strategy in the past couple of months has been a real experience. To contribute with what I already knew, learn new stuff, innovative tools and use what I learn in class at the university is really gratifying.
What’s something you’re working on now at Cathopic?
Right now we're about to launch our blog. This section will let us reach out to our community in a whole different way. We got so much to say, so much to share. We are going to talk about professional photography, art, spirituality. The journey is just about to begin.
What do you like to listen to while you work?
I got a straight answer for that. Tycho. This guy's music helps me relax, focus, and get things done.
